Scandura has continued to invest in its production capabilities, with the acquisition of a CNC Knife Cutting machine.

This gives us the capability to rapidly produce prototypes direct from CAD files.

Using this system there are no tooling charges involved and we are able to accommodate design changes easily.

This machine also allows us to produce small batch quantity parts either from scanned images of a sample or from design drawings.

The Exact Knife machine has a bed size of 2500mm x 2500mm, and can therefore accommodate the majority of customer requirements. It is capable of cutting materials ranging from a few microns up to 13mm in thickness.
